Love
A couple years ago a friend asked me a question that I really had no answer too and still don't. But lately it has got me think...What does it mean to be in love? How do you know? I know people say "oh you just know" ok fine...how do you know the love is "true" like beyond shadow of a doubt, no-one else in the world for you love.
Is it like in the movies, where from the time you meet on, whenever you see said person, you are the only two in the world and no one else matters? Better yet, can love be munipulated like in Shakespeare's "Mid-Summer Night's Dream"? Again like Shakespeare's play, should love be expressed, should a person be open about their love for someone else?
And how do you know of the other recipricates the love? Is it in their actions, words, both, or something completely different? If the one you love doesn't show you that love, but still says they love you, how do you know if they mean it or just blowing smoke out their ass?
If you cannot depend on the one you love....is it true love? If every time you need this person and they are never there for you, does that mean, love is not there??
"We are young heartache to heartache we stand, no promises no demands, Love is a battlefield..."
