Valentines Day

In light of tomorrow, I just want to say I HATE Valentine's Day. It is the worst holiday ever created. It forces couples to buy useless crap for each other and attempt to make one day different from the rest (and those who can't are left to feel inadequate so to speak). For the singles it reminds the of the horrible fact that no one wants to be with them.

My friend Carly gave us Valentines you know the ones you handed out as a kid. I got to thinking I have never gotten a V. Day card (other than those) or a gift or even a rose. How sad is that?? I mean I've gotten cards from family and one year my brother got really sweet and got me a rose (isn't he a great bro?) but other than that no one has really bought me a rose for V. day or even my birthday.

THink about V day as a kid...you had to give those valentine things to everyone in your class even the smelly kid in the back. It was one day to make every kid feel like they had a whole ass load of friends..Okay I'm just ranting now....

Time to pull out my hair and write yet another paper.
